The Resource Planning Analyst is responsible for supporting the Precertification team by collecting, interpreting and evaluating data related to resource planning. The Resource Planning Analyst will communicate with Precert leaders providing standard professional advice based on reports/analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews effective employee work schedules provided by Operations; including forecasting for expected work load both inventory and phones, analyzing trends, and monitoring departmental performance for needed intra-day adjustments.
Uses MS Office tools and Shared reporting Portals to develop projected future inventory volume for daily, weekly and monthly
Monitors daily Assignments and productivity to ensure provider requests meet CMS compliance with Turn-around-Times
Analyzes requests for alterations to Assignments and responds appropriately.
Analyzes inventory volume and makes recommendations to management.
Develops or assists in development of reports and structure to maintain Inventory levels and goal sets.
Generates reports as requested by management
Responds to all customers in a professional and courteous manner
Participates in leads daily meetings with Precertification management to provide updates on Inventory at such level as is determined at the employer’s sole discretion
Other duties as requested
Substantial knowledge of MS Office including SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Demonstrated knowledge of staff planning, workload distribution, and trend analysis
Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
Intermediate proficient technical skills utilizing MS applications, specifically Excel and Word
Experience with Access is a plus
Experience with SharePoint required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High School Diploma / College Degree Preferred
3-4 years experience working in analytics
