Job Description

Stratus Building Solutions is an innovative Commercial Cleaning Franchise Company that is taking the region by a storm! Our unique program solves one of the major problems that face facility and property managers today. We are seeking talented individual who can deliver our program to the customer in a business to business sales environment. 

We are embarking on the next phase of our growth strategy and are looking for the right individual who understands how to move a company from "Start up mode" to operational maturity.

Under the direction of the CEO, the General Manager is accountable for leading Stratus' Portland Operations.

Primary Responsibilities
 Manage the day-to-day operations of our Portland operations
 Ensure that all corporate operational Policies and Procedures are established and followed
Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Control procedures and continuous improvement processes
Develop, implement and monitor work procedures, methods and practices in conjunction with Corporate Headquarters
Ensure all company safety policies and employer-employee legal requirements are instituted and adhered to
Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas, break areas and offices so that the Operations are always "customer visit-ready"
Meet mutually agreed-upon key metrics relating to Sales, operational performance and divisional gross profit/contribution margin targets
Ensure the application of sound Customer Service principles in the administration of all job orders and responsiveness of the organization in all aspects (Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Administration)
Responsible for holding employees accountable for violations of Stratus's policies and procedures through the disciplinary process while adhering to all federal and state legal requirements. 
Ensure that employee training and cross-training are up-to-date, and in compliance with corporate policies
Ensure the timely completion of employee performance evaluations and make recommendations for employee development
Any other assigned duties


Job Requirements

Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience: 
Experience in managing Janitorial operations
Experience in Franchisee development
have some business to business sales experience
Knowledge of and experience with managing people
Demonstrated understanding and application of financial measures/pricing/profitability analysis
Strong business acumen capabilities
Bi-lingual Spanish/English
Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet based systems
