Director of Finance & Operations

Director of Finance & Operations will be a key member of the executive leadership team and have primary responsibility for the financial leadership. The Director of Finance & Operations will work closely with the President, investors (board members) and other members of the leadership team.




  • Lead the financial functions, including planning and analysis, cash and debt management, budgeting, accounting, reporting, treasury, audit and tax.
  • Fine tune and improve recently implemented accounting and inventory management systems and ensure processes are correctly implemented.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting including financial and operational KPIs.
  • Provide support for acquisitions, including due diligence and integration.
  • Lead a team that has the processes, systems and controls to support the growing business platform. 



  • The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience and the following qualifications:
  • Experience in ERP implementation (incl. financial and inventory management systems).
  • Knowledge of processes, applications and issues in QuickBooks including inventory mgmt. module.
  • Prior experience in distribution (including purchasing and inventory management).
  • Hands-on and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and persuade others to follow new processes.
  • Entrepreneurial, detail oriented, hands-on problem solver that thrives in a fast-moving position.
  • CPA or MBA beneficial but not required.
  • Ideal for an ambitious, self-motivated consultant looking to transition into a corporate role or a candidate that aspires to be the CFO of a private equity backed company.
