Seeking an experienced Corrugated Machine Operator. Must be able to work in a fast place enviorment, be familiar with machnary, must be very visual of their surroundings, making/feeding boxes to machine, must know mesurments, and must be able to read any incoming orders.
- Responsible for all duties associated with operating or assisting in running the Flexo machine including setup, operation, and cleanup
- Run each order according to Production Master and follow any special instructions at all times
- Check quality of boxes during the run, including ,miss-slotted boxes, loose liner, misprints, and any other defects
- Must be able to work 1st shift Monday - Friday with some occasional Saturdays as needed (Overtime)
- PPE Required: Safety boots, gloves, glasses, and mask
- Heavy lifting 50lbs
- Set up and operates machine to run efficiently with the filter machine
- Run the machine at the speed
- Respond as required to machine alarms
- Assist machine operator in any descrepencies
- Keep the machine and surrounding area
- Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines
- Perform safety checks on every machine
- Cutting machine and adjusts the line speed
- Feed block into cutting machine
- Make minor machine adjustments under the guidance of a skilled machine operator or production mechanic
- Assist the Operator with Rewinder machine
- Load raw paper stock onto the machine
- Run the machine, strap, feed
- Assist the Operator with machine
- Perform general housekeeping on and around machine
- Maintain machine efficiency and meet production standards
- Operate machine with safety as top priority
- Reporting and/or correcting machine safety issues
- Observe and examine cutting machine in operation to ensure conformance to customers' specifications
- Operate a machine in a heavy industrial facility
