Human Resources Generalist

We are currently recruiting for a highly professional Human Resources Generalist to provide support to HR Director in functional areas such as employment, personnel records, HCM system, employee relations, compensation management, benefits administration, organizational development, training, and payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees.


  • Work Remotely
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payrolls
  • ­Coordinate and track pre-employment screenings (background checks)
  • Maintains company personnel files
  • Completes employee on-boarding with new hires
  • Assists HR Director in hiring process and enters data into system for payroll and benefits processing
  • Recruiting for hourly and salary positions
  • Coordinates with Management on employee changes or issues
  • Support efforts to streamline processes and improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manages timekeeping system and assists HR Director with administration of attendance policy


  • Payroll experience of 2-5 years (ADP preferred)
  • Direct HR experience of 2+ years
  • Associates degree or higher
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of rules/laws/regulations associated with payroll and HR
  • Creative, strategic thinker with strong analytical and systems skills
  • Ability to work at a high level of professionalism with ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate projects, and manage a large volume of detailed tasks
  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects to timely completion
  • Results orientation; attention to detail
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Perform employee relations and employee counseling
  • Deliver human resources related training
  • Manage employee benefits administration processes
  • Promote positive employee relations and employee engagement
  • Deliver presentations regarding human resources/employee relations activities and procedures
  • Provide employee relations leadership and support on employee relations situations
  • Act as a resource on human resources matters to human resources personnel
  • Lead employee relations initiatives to improve employee engagement
  • Conduct new employee training on human resources related policies and procedures
  • Administer human resources policies and procedures
  • Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
  • Oversee employee relations and performance management
  • Manage other human resources staff
  • Manage through employee relations issues
  • Coordinating employee benefits and payroll processes
  • Advise managers on employee relations issues
  • Assist with employee relations issues
  • Demonstrate leadership in employee relations
  • Prepare human resources department budget
  • Provide management to human resources staff
