Job Description
Client's Engineering Program Management Team is looking for a resourceful and energetic Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) to manage and assist with configuration management, logistics management, supply chain management, vendor, procurement, and finance management. Preferred candidates are strategic problem solver who can lead and work with cross-functional teams to manage changes, create, structure, and maintain BOMs. Track deliverables from engineering development builds to production release.
Job Descriptions
• Support financial budgeting and tracking processes
• Create Purchase Requisitions and maintain Purchase Order invoice reconciliations, including Goods Receipts
• Create, manage and process Engineering Change Requests
• Create part numbers, structure, read and interpret complex BOM’s (Bill of Materials)
• Allocation management
• Manage materials schedules, deliverables and logistics
• Oversee shipment notifications
 
Key Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large cross-functional team Experience managing, organizing and maintaining large quantities of data.
• Critical thinking with detailed accuracy
• Excellent communication (written and verbal)
• Ability to react to re-sets and changes in a time sensitive environment
• Combination of organizational and detail-oriented skills when working on multiple projects
• Understand configuration management
• Create, define and structure complex BOMs (preferably for hardware products) Manage materials requirements
• Experience working with overseas vendors
• Ability to influence, effectively communicate and drive deadlines with vendors (either CM or part vendors)
• Proficient in MS Excel
