Pay Schedule I, Grade 28, Regular Schedule: 35 hours per week, with a benefit package.
A vacancy exists in the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections, Real Estate Compliance.
Examples of Duties:
Under general supervision, performs intermediate level real estate transaction work; and does related work as required.
Researches and reviews various legal documents including deeds, plats, and agreements to determine property interests and/or obligations pertaining to a property, roadbed, or easement.
Reviews construction drawings to determine the necessity and extent of rights-of-way to be acquired in accordance with applicable legal principles.
Makes real property appraisals.
Recommends revision of construction plans and property plats.
Adjustments of properties, and suggests improved operational procedures to superior.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering, a political or social science, or a closely related field plus at least two years' experience in real estate involving the application of federal, state and local laws, regulations, practices and procedures in the acquisition of real property.
