Real Estate Specialist II

Baltimore County Government Towson, MD Full-Time
$50,365.00 - $62,733.00 / year

Pay Schedule I, Grade 28, Regular Schedule:  35 hours per week, with a benefit package.

A vacancy exists in the Department of Permits, Approvals and Inspections, Real Estate Compliance. 

 Examples of Duties: Under general supervision, performs intermediate level real estate transaction work; and does related work as required.
  • Researches and reviews various legal documents including deeds, plats, and agreements to determine property interests and/or obligations pertaining to a property, roadbed, or easement.
  • Reviews construction drawings to determine the necessity and extent of rights-of-way to be acquired in accordance with applicable legal principles.
  • Makes real property appraisals.
  • Recommends revision of construction plans and property plats.
  • Adjustments of properties, and suggests improved operational procedures to superior.
