This corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer who possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum of 10 plus years of experience. You must be a high achiever, have good communication skills, and be able to coach and mentor on Projects. You’ll act as liaison between corporate engineering and the plants on Capital Projects.
As the Senior Staff Electrical Engineer, you’ll analyze, mentor and recommend project changes to meet requirements. Projects could range from $25,000 to Millions. You will be looked at as the person whom has a wealth of knowledge and is there to share it with the mills. You will be working with Peers, Corporate, Plant Managers, Capital Project Engineers, and Technicians on a regular basis. Successful candidate will need to be current on NEC standards; knowledgeable on SquareD, Eaton, and GE systems, extremely familiar with low voltage power, but knowledge in medium voltage is required.
This job does require 90% travel from any home-based office. Close to an international airport is preferable.
Requirements for Senior Staff Electrical Project Engineer:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
2. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project / Electrical engineering (low voltage power)
3. You must be excellent at mentoring, training, and communications.
4. Preference is for Pulp and Paper or Packaging Industry experience.
