We have been dedicated to community service, innovation, and the highest quality of care for a century. Founded as The Hebrew Home for the Aged, our history dates back to 1917, when we began providing shelter for poor, aging immigrants in a small synagogue in Harlem. As the needs of our community grew, so did we. We expanded our reach by moving to a beautiful 32-acre campus in Riverdale, New York, and became known as The Hebrew Home at Riverdale.
