Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related science or engineering discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years’ directly related experience in electronic component parts and their application
  • Experience with component obsolescence management methodologies, Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process
  • Experience with the development of associated component data/drawings and the judgment/determination of part applications to meet program/project objectives and requirements.
  • Experience with BOM (Bill of Material) development and management for developmental and production programs

Desired Skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related science or engineering degree
  • Understanding of technical theories /concepts as they apply to electronic components 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of component failure modes, component reliability
  • interpret engineering drawings
  • Active electronic circuit design experience.
  • Mentor Graphics Expedition or Design Architect and circuit simulation/analysis tools
  • Knowledge of component reliability process monitors and/or qualification methodology, component selection, analog design and analysis, general knowledge of digital circuitry and interfaces electronics manufacturing processes, test equipment, circuit card and PWB manufacturing processes
