Marketing and Communications Manager

Purpose

Promotes products and services and fosters brand loyalty/retention across the FrankCrum brands for internal and external audiences by composing content and managing marketing program execution.


Essential Duties


  • Implements plans as directed by the VP of Marketing to increase market share, drive high customer value and support retention of clients and employees. 
  • Coordinates with and manages day-to-day activities of marketing agency partners. 
  • Creates marketing presentations for key stakeholders. 
  • Oversees marketing program analysis, evaluation/tracking, and reporting on established KPI’s. 
  • Participates in and contributes to marketing strategy development. 
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams from creative, IT, sales, and product management to produce effective promotional materials. 
  • Develops calendars, schedules and maintains deadlines. 
  • Produces general copywriting and owns the positioning and messaging for corporate initiatives (inbound marketing including content creation, social media posts, articles, guides, white papers, case studies, and testimonials, plus PR, press releases, advertising copy, client newsletters).   
  • Serve as blog and PR manager and ghostwrites on various topics related to FrankCrum products, services, and areas of expertise. 
  • Interviews subject matter experts and conducts secondary research to gain understanding of a wide range of topics. 
  • Creates content for website pages across the FrankCrum brands. 
  • Provides and/or manages proofreading/review of a multitude of written content including content produced by other departments. 
  • Provides and/or manages presentation support such as PowerPoint.   
  • Monitors discussion forums and notifies management of issues and response needs. 
  • Works collaboratively with internal and external marketing teams, interdisciplinary teams, graphic designers, and video team. 
  • Provides project management for defined initiatives such as a brochure or video project using outside agency resources. 
  • Ensures quality assurance of all projects using strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the benchmark of the brand.

Minimum Requirements 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Journalism. 
  • Five (5) years of experience in marketing program management, creative direction, professional writing/communications preferably in Business-to-Business marketing. 
  • Demonstrated command of the English language, grammar and tone for a variety of communication vehicles including web, email promotion, and traditional service/product collateral. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
