Job Title:                       Machine Shop Supervisor

Job Type:                      Temp-to-Hire

Location:                       Milwaukee, WI

Days/Hours:                  Mon-Fri - 1st Shift

Pay Range:                   $25-$35 per hour

 

General Job Duties:

·         Analyze job orders and creates appropriate tool for product.

·         Set up; program and operate CNC machine centers.

·         Run products and train team members on various machines.

·         Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.

·         Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.

·         Assist in decision making process of future machine and tooling purchases.

·         Interprets company policies and enforces safety regulations.

·         Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.

·         Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.

·         Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.

·         Perform minor equipment repairs, maintenance, and adjustment to equipment.

·         Clean work area.

Job Requirements:

·         Requires education generally equivalent to an Associate's Degree.

·         Requires 5-7 years of machinist experience.

·         Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and perform geometric algebraic and trigonometric calculations.

·         Must perform metric conversions.

·         Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with team members.

·         Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings.
