  • Provide support in addressing all Help Desk tickets related to Dynamics AX issues, requests, and security needs.
  • Research and analyze all aspects of existing business practices and procedures.
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
  • Create detailed plans for execution and implementation of new processes.
  • Provide on-going training to end users.
  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation and providing technical system support.
  • Coordinate testing of software updates/patches including workflow configuration requests, security roles & duties, modifications, and features activated/deactivated.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions.

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Technical consulting and business analyst experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX in analysis, design, configuration, development, applications upgrade, integration, data modeling, and data migration Dynamics AX 2012 R3 experience is required, including at least 5+ years in AX 2012 R2/R3, and Dynamics365
  • Excellent skills are required for documentation, training, and customer support for Dynamics AX modules including all System Administration, Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes
  • Ability and expertise in setup and maintenance of workflow design & configuration in Dynamics AX
  • Full understanding of Dynamics AX security architecture and design of security configuration elements
  • Understanding of critical business transactional flows including the ability to communicate with subject matter experts in the business to meet objectives
  • Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making skills within functional and technical areas with keen focus on root cause analysis, problem prevention and system stability Microsoft AX 2012 or Dynamics 365 'Finance and Operations' certifications a plus
