Summary

The QA Information Specialist is responsible for performing field claim analysis and cost management including claim/reclaim process and communication with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Mobis Headquarters (HQ), and suppliers regarding issues relating to quality assurance.

Essential Functions

- Analyze warranty field claim and execute claim/reclaim system for cost reimbursement
- Create and modify QA report including monthly field claim analysis and status
- Identify field claim trends and participate in reviewing, verifying, and processing supplier’s objection and objection to OEM, and establish field claim Burden Ratio when necessary
- Maintain and update Reclaim Logic and conditions in system for QA field claim process
- Analyze field claim repair orders provided through the quality systems

- Complete the Customer Satisfaction/Reliability Study (CS1M/RS1M) status report as required
- Execute Field Claim Data Analysis to meet requirements for OEM Quality 5-Star Evaluation
- Provide support for Quality Control team and address questions and concerns
- Perform and support quality assurance and problem containment activities in accordance with quality management and OEM requirements

- Comply with and promote safety in the workplace
- All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications 

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree, plus 2 or more years of experience in a technical position in an Automotive or Manufacturing environment

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field 

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:  none required

Working Conditions

75% office, 15% production floor, 5% at OEM or Supplier

Traversing around production floor

Chances of lifting up to 30 lbs

Overtime as needed (40 Hours a week plus OT)

Frequent OEM and suppliers visiting

Possibility of domestic and international travel
