Inside Sales Representative

Manufacturing client in north Houston is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to qualify leads and assist in capturing the initial opportunity and converting to customer status.


Primary Duties:

  • Reach out to prospects to discuss products and ensure they have a positive first impression of the company’s brand
  • Anticipate customer needs and up sell when possible
  • Effectively share leads with field sales for swift and efficient follow up, and communicate with Marketing Director to ensure the process runs smoothly and leads are effectively routed to the necessary team members
  • Work effectively in Salesforce to share and follow up on leads with sales team
  • Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to develop a communication strategy for all campaigns and promotions
  • Work closely with entire sales group to accelerate the sales cycle and extend the company’s reach into target accounts
  • Look for opportunities for improvement in Salesforce routing process
  • Solicit feedback on lead quality and adjust inbound and outbound strategies as needed

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of previous inside sales experience
  • Salesforce experience is required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task at a high level
  • Drive to set and achieve targeted sales goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
