A manufacturing company is seeking a HR Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining employee records while coordinating performance reviews and administering benefit program updates. This is a Direct Hire position and w ork hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all recruiting and hiring efforts for office and plant personnel
  • Update job descriptions as necessary, actively recruit for key positions, and maintain a flow of candidates for all shifts
  • Review and maintain records relating to hire data, promotions, transfers, retirement, resignations, and terminations
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies, approve and submit payroll processing on a weekly basis
  • Administer performance review program and provide guidance regarding salary levels and pay rate scale
  • Lead open enrollment and administer benefit programs and conduct new employee orientation
  • Respond to employee inquiries, investigate claims of harassment, and resolve employee relations, performance, and attendance issues
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required
  • Advanced certification including PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP is preferred
  • Must have previous HR experience 
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, experience with ADP software, and corporate human resource portals 
  • Must be able to write routine reports, correspondence, and read and understand handbook and safety rules and regulations
  • Must have intermediate math skills
  • Must have excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have an eye for detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and work as a team player 
  • Common sense understanding to carry out instructions is needed 
  • Must be assertive, creative, and adaptable to changing conditions while being results-oriented
  • Strict confidentiality is mandatory
