Performs a variety of administrative functions. Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports.
• Know how to operate Microsoft Office Suite (primarily be able to use Outlook for emails / calendars and Excel for some very basic spreadsheets – more looking up information than doing any big work)
• Be able to communicate with suppliers on expedite requests.
• Know enough with computers to be able to look up information in an ERP system (like SAP - again – basic understanding of general computer skills; typing, savings files, locating files, etc)
• Be able to take notes on job tasks so they can work independently after receiving some on-site training.
Employee will update order acknowledgements from suppliers into SAP, handle certain expedite requests from customer service or production by calling / emailing supplier, and any other administrative / clerical help the team may need.
