Clinical Staffing Resources is currently seeking per diem LTC Registered Nurses (RN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work in one of our long term care facilities or School Districts in Suffolk Counties of NY and the surrounding area.
Positions available in Riverhead, South Hampton, West Hampton, Sayville, Smithtown, Port Jefferson, W. Babylon, Port Jefferson Station, Amityville, Syosset, Patchogue, St James, East Islip, N Babylon,Huntington and many other locations.
The ideal candidate will have a New York state license and 1 year of experience in long term care nursing.
Salary: $15.00 to $38.00 /hour
Many positions available through out the LI School Districts - Nassau, Suffolk and NYC.
Nurses can work as the school nurse, go on field trips or work one to one with students in the schools. Each student has a different diagnosis so cases may vary. Must be able to work school days, school hours- off weekends, nights and holidays.

Requirements of the RN / LPN / CNA
- Must have at least 1 year of current experience in Nursing Home / Long Term Care
- Must have currently NYS License / Certification in good standing
- Must have current medical documentation (annual physical, TB screening, immunizations, flu shot verification)
- Must be able to commit to the assignment requested
- Must be available every other weekend (minimum)
Responsibilities and Duties - All Nursing Staff
Provide Nursing care as per the scope of your license / certification
Duties: • Develops student health program by identifying and coordinating requirements with administrators and physicians; adhering to and enforcing school board policy; conferring with community agencies. • Promotes health care by publicizing health issues and preventive measures; providing information and resources; counseling students; • Treats medical problems by rendering first aid; stabilizing ill or injured persons; arranging for emergency treatment. • Keeps parents/guardians informed by providing information and advice. • Maintains safe and healthy environment by enforcing organization standards and legal regulations. Required: New York license (RN/LPN) Valid and current CPR/BLS Fingerprinting for the school dist.
