Computer Systems Analyst

Located in either Columbus OH or Phoenix AZ, this position offers a unique opportunity to guide a new MIS analytics portfolio associated to our product and service delivery organizations.  In addition, the successful candidate will work with the Product Management and IT teams to create new features and services while helping to adapt the solution designs to fit new data trends and extend our analytics capabilities.  

  • Provides support that improves users overall experience with MIS systems
  • Hosts/Attends weekly/monthly internal user group meetings and offers support, knowledge transfer and training to assist users to robustly use MIS systems 
  • Responsible to develop and maintain automation for MIS based production processes
  • Responsible for implementation and monitoring of the MIS platform.
  • Responsible for reporting on efficiencies and performance of MIS platforms. 
  • Responsible for implementation and monitoring of other in-house operational systems.
  • Responsible for design and implementation of dashboards and reports to Executive Management.
  • Anticipates issues based on knowledge of business trends and proposes direction and solutions. 
  • Analyze data and identify data integrity issues with existing system and proposed changes.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is well documented and change management process followed.
  • Responsible for auditing and quality control to ensure that work meets quality standards.
  • Responsible to perform user acceptance testing when required and appropriate.
  • Responsible to support external APIs to customer information system

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Broad knowledge of multi-user computer systems, applications and equipment
  • Capacity to deal logically with difficult problems and anticipate new situations
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations and meet required deadlines
  • Ability to develop and/or modify specifications, configurations, and programs to meet specified  requirements
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and schedule multiple projects on an ongoing basis
  • Possesses business knowledge and technical expertise related to their areas of responsibility and is skilled in systems functionality, project management, and change management.
  • Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, and the flexibility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly complex environment. 
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, conceptual and quantitative problem-solving skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Education & Experience:
  • BS/BA degree in a related technical discipline with 2-5 years of hands on experience. 
  • Experience in two or more of the following: VBA, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, or SAS. 
  • 2+ years information systems equivalent industry experience preferred. 
  • Must have well developed organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
