Job Description

Job Summary

Assist customers in all phases of their business transactions, and as the liaison with all other departments.

Job Requirements

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Process customers’ purchase orders
  • Communicating with customers via phone, fax or e-mail
  • Provide information and updates regarding order status to customers and/or other departments
  • Provide complaint resolution in a timely and professional manner
  • Direct customer related issues beyond one’s control to the correct individual(s)
  • Research past customer history
  • Communicate customers’ service needs to other departments and follow-through to completion, ensuring excellent customer service
  • React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor
  • Assist with Return Authorization (RA’S) process
  • Monitor outstanding shipping report daily – will calls and company trucks
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Experience required: Entry level, some customer service experience preferred
  • Skills Required: Computer literate, knowledge of Excel, basic office equipment, strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, analytical and technical skills, bilingual a plus
