Assist customers in all phases of their business transactions, and as the liaison with all other departments.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Process customers’ purchase orders
- Communicating with customers via phone, fax or e-mail
- Provide information and updates regarding order status to customers and/or other departments
- Provide complaint resolution in a timely and professional manner
- Direct customer related issues beyond one’s control to the correct individual(s)
- Research past customer history
- Communicate customers’ service needs to other departments and follow-through to completion, ensuring excellent customer service
- React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor
- Assist with Return Authorization (RA’S) process
- Monitor outstanding shipping report daily – will calls and company trucks
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum Experience required: Entry level, some customer service experience preferred
- Skills Required: Computer literate, knowledge of Excel, basic office equipment, strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, analytical and technical skills, bilingual a plus
