Nova 401(k) Associates (URL blocked - click to apply) provides consulting and pension administration services for all types of qualified retirement plans including, 401(k), Profit Sharing, Cross-Tested and Defined Benefit, including Cash Balance Plans. We are headquartered in Houston, Texas with offices in Dallas and Austin, TX and Scottsdale, AZ. is a fast growing company with more than 110 employees and nearly 50% of our employee population is remote across 19 different states.
This is a part-time (18-25 hours per week), entry-level position focused on providing HR and benefits support to all levels of personnel using applicable knowledge in human resources with highly developed interpersonal, organizational and technical skills.
Process semi-monthly payroll
Process special payrolls for bonuses and terminated employees
Track paid time off
Provide benefits enrollment information to newly eligible employees
Provide 401(k) enrollment information to newly eligible employees
Enroll employees in benefits and 401k programs
Administers the company’s group medical, dental, vision, basic life, supplemental life, disability insurance programs, 401K, Leave of Absence, FMLA and Continuing Education Reimbursement Plans.
Processes enrollments and changes for multiple benefit groups.
Report terminated employees to COBRA provider
Audits and reconciles monthly benefits invoices from carriers, creates reports, and assists in resolving any problems or discrepancies.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
High school diploma required
60 hours of college credit or Associates degree preferred
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Prior payroll experience (particularly multi state payroll) preferred
