Structural Project Engineer - AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, ACI - Cincinnati, OH - JOB 21-00186

Salary Range: $75K - $100K Permanent Position with Benefits.

A full service architectural & engineering consulting firm is seeking to hire a Structural Project Engineer to develop schedules, budgets, tracking all progress on each assigned project and prepare reports, specifications, plans and designs. This position requires design and construction administration experience of municipal, industrial, commercial, institutional, and retail structures.


  • BS or MS in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • P. E. License is required
  • 10 years' or more experience of related structural engineering work.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experienced.
  • AutoCAD, Revit and a working knowledge of structural design software for building type projects.
  • Must be well versed with AISC Steel Design. International building code requirements knowledge, structural analysis and design software is preferred.
  • Develops schedules and budgets, tracks project progress and budget, preparation of reports, specifications, plans and designs for projects, research and investigate existing conditions from fieldwork; records, or other information.
  • Attend internal and external meetings with clients and design team members.
  • Ability to determine load capacities of existing structures.
  • Be responsible for structural design of municipal, industrial, commercial, institutional and retail structures, including new buildings and non-building structures (culverts, pipe racks, retaining
  • walls, pier walls), and additions or renovations (including concrete repairs) to existing buildings and non-building structures.
  • Monitor project budgets, manage and train structural personnel, as well as the performance of internal and external technical support services.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

Salary Range: $75K - $100K Permanent Position with Benefits.
