We are a 20 year old full-service boutique marketing agency established in the South Florida area in search of someone to head up and build our Sales Department.  We are looking for a qualified candidate who HAS EXPERIENCE IN MARKETING & SALES. The VP of Sales is responsible for the overall management for the company’s business development and establishing sales quotas based on company goals that will promote sales growth and client satisfaction for the organization. Enter You!  You are an entrepreneur at heart but love the support of an already established business with clients and lead flow at your fingertips.  The Sales position day-to-day activities combines marketing, sales and business development initiatives as it pertains to new sales and new business growth.  There is Lead flow already in place, but we are looking for the right person to manage sales that brings in-depth knowledge of the marketing industry and is ready to make BMG their own.  This is an amazing opportunity for someone to come in and take ownership with an equity opportunity on the table.


This is a position for someone who has substantial experience in executing short- and long-term sales strategies and quotas, and who is adept at new business development as well as expanding existing relationships. This is an individual contributor sales position who reports only to the CEO.


       Creating and delivering on key sales objectives and strategy

       Inside and Outside Sales meetings to onboard new clients

       Attract (as needed), motivate (always), and retain the members of a team of salespeople nationwide in generating pipeline, pitching, and closing business. This is 5% of the other 10% of the success criteria

       Proposal Writing for plug-and-play offerings

       Deliver estimates, quotes & proposals for agency services

       Lead in gaining larger clients requiring branding and/or strategy

       Strategic planning to develop additional pipelines of new business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company's competitors

       Oversee all agreements signed and ensure new business is properly scoped before transferring to Client Services

       Actively marketing and closing sales of marketing services/programs to new customers

       Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions

       Follow-up on dormant accounts

       Pre-screening and initial in-take on potential new business

       Create and maintain lead lists for agency services for areas of mass growth

       Follow-up on new business opportunities and proposals sent

       Maintain client and potential new client contact information in agency CRM

       Organize Direct Marketing efforts



       Excellent organizational and administrative skills with an appreciation for detail

       Excellent follow up skills

       Confident and outgoing communication skills with a focus on Closing business

       Rejection doesn't bother you a bit

       Excellent interpersonal skills for relating effectively with staff members, clients, vendors and partners, both in person and on the phone

       Excellent written (correspondence, writing, editing, proofing) and verbal communication skills for sales pitches and in-house sales meetings

       Extensive experience in working with digital marketing, social media, branding, web design, web development (backend knowledge a plus), eCommerce, WordPress, content management, marketing automation, SEO, PPC, SEM and print media

       Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

       Ability to complete projects on time and follow through efficiently

       Good management and leadership skills and the ability to motivate others in a deadline driven environment

       Strong new business/sales development experience with the ability to maintain client accounts.

       An assertive and persuasive personality
