A Talis Group client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to immediately fill a full-time customer service role. This position is a ‘direct hire’ position. Talis Group’s client is a busy manufacturer located in Southern Indiana. Hours are 8am-5pm. Pay is $16 to $20/hour. Health benefits, 401K, paid vacation and PTO is offered.
Answering incoming customer calls regarding order tracking, checking stock, quoting, order entry and general client concerns.
Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
Updating customer information in the customer service database during and after each call
Work with the customer service team to stay updated on product knowledge and continuous improvement projects
Supporting the outside salesperson in your designated area
High School Diploma/GED required (Associate degree in business-related field preferred)
Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills
Strong customer service skills and product knowledge
Great phone etiquette
Quick and accurate problem-solving skills
Professional references and criminal background check required.
