Administrative Assistant

The Intergovernmental Personnel Benefits Cooperative (IPBC) is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant. 10-15 hours per week. Flexible hours and primarily remote-based work. However, will need to attend committee meetings during normal business hours in the Chicago area.

Requirements include:

· Ability to multitask and prioritize work

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office

· A team player who is proactive and flexible

· Ability to work independently and under the pressure of deadlines

· Experience in updating content on a website preferred

· Knowledge of local government operations preferred

Duties and Responsibilities include:

·         Secretariat to IPBC Committees

·         Planning and scheduling meetings

·         Prepare, post, and distribute meeting packets

·         Basic website maintenance

·         Assist with member communication efforts

·         Maintain member information

·         Assist with monthly billing

·         Other duties as assigned
