Allied Resources has an immediate opening for multiple Substation Engineers (Physical and P&C) with a utility and a premier engineering firm in the Greater Philadelphia Area! This position is offering excellent compensation and a comprehensive benefits package!
A day in the life:
Work on multiple substation engineering projects or well-defined areas of larger projects up to 500kV.
Development of wiring diagrams, cable schedules, physical layouts, general arrangements, conduit plans, grounding plans, material lists and other applicable drawings.
Utilize existing procedures to investigate, evaluate and assist in producing technically correct and cost effective designs or recommendations.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using well defined engineering procedures, which may include routine and diagnostic testing of components and systems, and engineering studies.
Work in a team environment and adheres to company and client standards & procedures.
The wish list:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Technical background and experience in Physical and P&C substation design including wiring diagrams, conduit/cable schedules, AC/DC details, physical arrangement, one-line, and three line diagrams.
