I am in search of a Customer Service Specialist(CSS) on behalf of one of my clients on the Phoenix/Tempe border. This is a full time permanent position.

The CSS position offers various daily schedules based on a multitude of factors to best suit our customers’ needs. A CSS is a proactive agent of timely service to exceed our customer’s expectations. This team will properly manage phone calls (inbound/outbound) as well as email communication in a timely manner. Follow up related to overdue dispatch and completion of work is required. The CSS works in concert with his or her assigned lead/supervisor/manager to resolve vendor and customer issues utilizing the various tools and internal resources provided.

Other duties may include:

  • Create work orders in the system, including schedule, service timing,
  • May dispatch work order to external vendor (internal Inspectors are dispatched by another work group)
  • Interacts with internal enterprise system and customer 3rd party software as needed to coordinate/complete service work
  • Ensures service work is completed by either internal Inspector or external Vendor per work order
  • Gather/review all paperwork related to work orders
  • Verify work completion, timing, rates, and hours in preparation for invoicing customer
  • Prepare and submit initial invoice.
  • Qualified candidates must have:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 1+ year of call center
    • 2+ years of customer service experience
    • Fire protection, inspection, repair and maintenance a plus
    • Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook skills required; intermediate level preferred
    • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with little supervision.
