Position Summary: Area Sales and Service Manager for a leading provider of facility solutions with over 400 employees and 6 branch offices in the region. Growth plans include opening additional branches. In business since 1996 and have had a healthy growth rate of 20% for the past six years.

Will serve as the point of contact and provide direction to personnel; operations manager, management team, and office staff for the territory. Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing sales opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans and managing staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth
  • Utilize networking and referrals to additionally build client base
  • Seek and qualify prospects in accordance with Company account stratification goals
  • Addresses complaints with the goal of increasing satisfaction and securing renewals
  • Communicating job expectations, monitoring, coaching, developing, training employees
  • Enforcement of policies, procedures and productivity standards
  • Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, service and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes
  • Build and cultivate employee morale, motivation and loyalty
  • Measure performance compliance and requirements and directs appropriate actions by personnel to maintain performance at or above required levels
  • Manages allocated budgeted hours vs. worked hours. Daily management of staffing needs for designated territory: absences, monitors turnover, and employee relocation
  • Capability to effectively use time management
  • Ability to apply solutions to resolve issues and/or manage conflict
  • Manage employees in their designated positions

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years upper management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and training others

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must have valid car insurance
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must pass Background and Drug Screen

  • Manage performance measures in area of responsibility
  • Provide leadership for employees at all levels within assigned business area
  • Manage daily operations of assigned area to meet business goals
  • Generating revenue through sales to new partners within a geographic area or market
  • Maintain appropriate communications within area of responsibility
