Job Description:
 
In this role you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of our M365 platform across Ultra. This role is pivotal to ensuring our IT provisioning is kept up to date while also ensuring that our employees have a fantastic user experience.
 
We have two levels of System Administrators available and the responsibilities and minimum requirements are separated below. The level of role you will be considered for will be dependent on your knowledge, background, and experience. This is a remote-work role will provide support to our US, UK, and Canadian based businesses. The ideal candidate for this opening will be on the Eastern or Central Time Zone. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Level I System Administrator:
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to level I end user requests or problems submitted by phone, email, or chat.
  • Triage and assign advanced problems or requests to the proper channels
  • Perform post solution follow up to ensure end user satisfaction
  • Write knowledgebase articles to document new solutions
Level II System Administrator:
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions to level II software and hardware faults
  • Assist Technologist team in the monitoring and management of server systems
  • Write knowledgebase articles to document new solutions
 
Required Skills:
 
Level I System Administrator:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 3+ years of experience in information technology or Associates Degree with 5+ years of experience or High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 7+ years of experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with:
    • Windows Desktop Operating Systems
    • Productivity Software (MS Office/M365)
    • Active Directory User Account Administration
    • Microsoft Exchange Administration
    • Client Networking
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following:
    • Apple Operating Systems
    • MDM – Cellular Solutions
    • Helpdesk Operations
  • 3+ years of experience in basic troubleshooting of typical end user system problems
Level II System Administrator:
  • Level I responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 5+ years of experience in information technology or Associates Degree with 7+ years of experience or High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 9+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with:
    • Microsoft 365/Office 365
    • Windows Operating Systems (Server and Desktop)
    • Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Familiarity with at least two of the following:
    • Microsoft Azure
    • AAD Connect and hybrid identity
    • Exchange Online and on-premises versions (2010-2016)
    • Intune/Endpoint Manager
    • Windows Autopilot
    • Scripting/PowerShell
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting desktop and server systems
