Job Description


The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for updating and maintaining the integrity of employee and payroll related data and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.

Daily duties and responsibilities in this role generally include: 

  • Enter new hire information and personnel changes in the HR/Payroll system and follows up for incomplete and/or missing documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Process all payroll information necessary to accurately and timely compute, process, and distribute weekly payroll and ACH files.
  • Enter, manage, and process wage attachment and garnishment data.
  • Work with team members to research and resolve payroll adjustments and other issues.
  • Assist with other HR functions as assigned and as needed. 

Job Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll processing required. 


Requires a good understanding of basic accounting principles as they are related to payroll transactions.  Candidate must possess comprehensive knowledge of payroll functions and processes including wage assignments and child support.
