SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN


 


Shriners Hospital has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant in the Outpatient Department. These are  benefit eligible positions.  Must have Monday – Friday availability.


 

Position Purpose:

The CMA will assist the Outpatient Department staff and Medical staff as needed in providing patient care to patients and families in the pediatric orthopedic setting under the supervision of the OPD Manager.


 


 


 


Specifications:     (Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)


 

  • High School Diploma required
  • Medical Assistant Certification or registration
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a health care environment
  • Experience working in a children’s hospital or similar healthcare setting with dependence on technology preferred
