Salem Staffing’s Western Suburban Staffing Center is looking for a highly professional Customer Service Representative for a Temp-to-hire position at our client’s office located in Naperville, Illinois.
SNAPSHOT:
• Title: Customer Service Representative/Call Center
• Industry/Dept: Warranty Department
• Location: Naperville, Illinois
• Hours of Operation: Monday – Saturday 6am to 7pm. Must be available for 40 hour work week during that time frame.
DAY-TO-DAY:
Upselling/Selling home warranty and energy related products and services in a blended environment handling both inbound and outbound customer service calls.
Ability to resolve customer questions/concerns, clarifying issues, researching answers to communicate alternative solutions.
Navigate systems efficiently and enter data accurately while resolving customer needs.
Maintain understanding of customer account processes (i.e. billing, payments, service) and the benefits of our suite of products and services.
Ability to successfully resolve customer questions and/or concerns quickly in one phone call by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, and implementing appropriate solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient typing and computer application skills (minimum of 40 wpm)
Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task while speaking with a customer on the phone.
Easily adapt to change while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to work a continuously flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays with punctuality and consistent work attendance.
Ability to work during current hours of operation; 6:00 am – 7:00 pm Monday - Saturday
Motivation for sales, adhering to set computer guided scripts and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, effective listening skills, and ability to identify needs through phone conversation
COMPENSATION:
$15.25 per hour plus $5 commission per sale
