Our client, a major adult day care center for senior citizens, is seeking a worthwhile and professional Medical Administrative Assistant to join their main office in Reseda.
As the Medical Admin Assistant, you are manning the front desk for incoming patients. This includes greeting people as they walk in, insurance verification for appointments, following up on paperwork and scheduling meetings when needed with the doctor in mind. Additionally, you will also ensure that appointments are kept, and that any questions asked about the process is promptly answered.
This position is a combination of Customer Service, Admin and Medical work. This is a full time, temp to hire position. First shift, from 7:30 am to 6 pm (with overtime if needed).
- 1-3 years of Medical Office experience (previous work for a doctor's office is a huge plus)
- Microsoft Office savvy
- Great speaking voice, able to communicate clearly
- Must be open to working on Saturday's.
- Must have working knowledge of HIPPA.
- Previous experience in Insurance Verification
- Must be able to take and pass a background check.
