Production Technician 

If you’re looking to work with a team that focuses on safety and career development with a thriving company, this may be your fit. Our Cottage Grove, MN customer is growing and needs you as a Production Technician on 2nd shift.

 

Position – Product Technician

Job Location – Cottage Grove, MN

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire (depends on experience)

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (2:00 pm -12:30 am, Monday - Thurs.)

Starting Pay – $16+ per hour (depends on experience)

Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Hiring and Retention Bonus

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – Machine Operator experience; mechanically inclined

 

As a production technician, you will be working with industrial powders. You will be expected to do general machine maintenance and keep all work areas clean. You will work in a team environment and independently at times doing a variety of tasks and duties.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate specialty production equipment, working with Engineers and Management to complete jobs to customers' specifications and deadlines
  • Follow written operating procedures and instructions
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Quality control
  • Bending, squatting, lifting, and working on your feet 8-10 hours a day

Qualifications:

  • Mechanically inclined
  • Strong work history and ethic
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on occasion
  • Experience with Excel and Word preferred
