PCBA Production Supervisor
We have an immediate opportunity for a PCBA Production Supervisor who will be responsible to lead their assigned manufacturing teams; plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, recommend operations improvements, assist in development of new opportunities, insure quality of product, insure safety, insure 5S program is followed, monitor cycle count and inventory process, and adherence to policy for programs. These are full-time positions and there are openings on both first and third shifts. s a full-time position and work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the PCBA team to plan, assign work, produce customer orders, and meet daily productivity goals
- Understand and demonstrate operational knowledge of production equipment and their capabilities
- Communicate with material handlers to ensure material is staged and ready and Maintenance Manager when equipment requires service or repair
- Ensure all equipment is being utilized for proper order fulfillment and optimal shop floor efficiency
- Support and implement continuous improvement initiative
- Train employees on equipment and participate in cross-training program as instructed
- Immediately address report and document any safety or quality issues to Production Manager and Quality Manager
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, follow 5S principles, and insure 5S program is operational in assigned work areas and plant
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a High school Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Must have at least three years of Supervisory experience and at least five years of Manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of ISO-13485 Quality Program is needed; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is preferred
- Must have a thorough understanding of surface mount technology processes, systems, tools, production functions, procedures, standards, and continuous improvement tools
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment while being be detail and goal oriented with a willingness to learn and grow
- Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office
- Must be punctual and demonstrate a “whatever it takes” attitude
