Water Treatment Team Lead
Are you an experienced certified CT Class IV Water Treatment Operator? We have an immediate need for a Water Treatment Team Lead to supervise the operation and maintenance of our water treatment plants to maintain water quality standards in accordance with regulations and RWA policies. Supervise Water Treatment Operators
Schedule maintenance activities at each facility
Perform laboratory testing to assure compliance
Coordinate plant activities and operations to meet the needs of the demands of the distribution system
Respond to alarms, malfunctions and take corrective action
Review system operating processes and perform adjustments
Implement and monitor safety programs; update job safety analysis
Provide updates to the Chief Water Treatment Operator on the operations and maintenance of water treatment facilities
Other duties necessary to accomplish the mission, vision and values of the organization
High school diploma or equivalent
CTDPH Class IV Water Treatment OIT Certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to problem solve in a team setting
Experience with DAF a plus
Applicants must live within 45 minutes of the New Haven area to have the ability to respond to emergency calls (availability is required 24 hours per day when on-call, including weekends and holidays)
