Great opportunity to join a dynamic manufacturing company located in the North Suburbs of Chicago. This role will work closely with Business Unit Finance Officers and multiple teams across the company to coordinate the preparation of, analyze, and present earnings and capital forecasts for senior management to make strategic decisions. Position pays between $85,000 - $100,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits.
Specific responsibilities include:
FP&A - Modeling, Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance Analysis
Interface with the Central FP&A modeling team to distill and present projection insights to multiple upstream and downstream stakeholders across the organization (Business Units, Investments, Actuarial, Pricing, Expense Management, Treasury, Tax, Risk, Controllers, etc)
Drive cross-functional initiatives to synthesize a holistic story for the projections and facilitate deeper understanding and tracking of business performance relative to expectations
Track intra-quarter activity and present real-time updates on emerging trends between quarterly financial close production cycles
Support the preparation of presentations to senior management including the Board of Directors
Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Sharp analytical / quantitative and technical abilities; Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Can prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
Minimum 2-4 years of experience.
Experience in Advertising, consulting, or investment banking is preferred
Basic understanding of corporate finance or insurance product concepts is a plus
