PrideStaff is currently looking for a Data Analyst!
The Data Analyst is responsible for researching information, performing evaluation analysis, collecting, and maintaining data, and analyzing and reporting progress on the company's mission to mobilize the caring power of our community. The Data Analyst will grow the organization's activities by ensuring community impact is taking place from a data-driven lens. They are responsible for furthering the organization's strategic priority of utilizing meaningful data to drive business decisions. This position has broad organizational and community latitude and will work with multiple teams to achieve goals.
Serves as the lead consultant for the community when desiring data-driven solutions. This position serves as part content knowledge and part analyst and should be viewed as the expert in database, analytics, and technology as related to community data.
Uses a variety of information sources to gather, analyze, and track progress on community conditions within a seven-county service area. Has oversight on the accuracy of the data contained in the databases as it is related to our community.
Assist in the aggregation and dissemination of community data and the annual reporting to our corporate hub.
Leads in the development of community indicators and metrics associated with community initiatives. Coordinates with community organizations (School Systems, GLP, CHE, etc.) to create consistent community goals.
Leads the organization in location analytics using GIS (Geographical information systems), the census, and Community impact data to identify impact needs and communicate the same via interactive mapping apps. Identifies and shares trends, issue areas, geographic profiles, and other insights that would support strategic initiatives.
Takes complex data and strives to make it more accessible, understandable, and usable for leaders to derive insights and ultimately enable them to make better business decisions.
Works with staff, volunteers, community leaders, nonprofit organizations, agencies, foundations, and local and national government to integrate and share data related to selected community issues.
Provides business consulting to external partners by understanding their business needs, gathering requirements, and facilitating technical solutions to their business problems.
Consults with designated colleagues to determine the feasibility of research requests and special projects. Negotiates project scopes and deadlines directly with the requester.
Analyzes existing external data to identify weaknesses and gaps; understand aspects of the data that can be leveraged to provide additional value to the organization and communicates that to stakeholders.
Develops and provides briefing materials to internal and external entities related to key community initiatives.
Responsible for oversight on submitted DAT Team tickets from the community members. Will work with the submitting party to determine feasibility, priority, and rationale. Will work with the rest of the DAT team to decide whether they will be completed, put on hold, or rejected.
Assists in evaluating new business opportunities and market analysis.
Performs other duties as assigned, including higher-level support for the Chief Analytics Officer
