Overview

This position is a mixture of Administrative and Commercial Lending Representative responsibilities, position responds to and resolves the more complex customer issues, performs accurate and complex processing and advanced clerical and administrative tasks to assist commercial banking officers and Market Managers.

Composes the more complex memos and correspondence using computer programs.

Responds to and resolves a wide variety of issues from internal and external customers applying knowledge of internal policies and procedures and all applicable regulations.

Processes the more complex payments and advances. May work on participation loans and complex lines of credit. Processes paperwork to book loans on system.

Develops and maintains knowledge of legal, regulatory, financial accounting issues and systems.

Ensures loans are maintained on various systems and maintains credit files as needed. Frequently interacts with attorneys and accounting professionalsinternal departments, and external customers to complete assignments and tasks.

Prepares reports as needed for both Region and Market Manager with limited supervision.

Acts as a resource to Commercial Regional Lending Reps.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency required.

2-5 years relevant experience.

Effective PC skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and internal and standard industry applications. Ability to learn to use additional applications as needed. Ability to design basic spreadsheets.

Effective written and verbal skills are needed to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.

Organizational skills and attention to detail are required to perform tasks in an efficient manner.

Ability to work well with a team and share knowledge and skills.

Flexibility of schedule during high peak workloads.

Ability to work independently and learn quickly.

Ability to apply knowledge of legal and regulatory issues to internal processes.
