Position: Registered Nurse
Dept: Operation Room (OR)
Location: Queens, Bronx, Manhattan
Fulltime: 5 Days, 8 Hour Shifts
Contract Duration: 3 - 6+ Months
Hourly Rate: $50
Overview: The Contracted OR nurses will work in the Operating Room/Perioperative unit, providing surgical patient care and effective communication to patient/family.
Required Qualifications
- NYS License Registered Nurse
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Valid AHA BLS
- 2 years of Paid OR nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care with patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Creating and maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment, pre and post-operative patient education
- Monitoring the patients physical and emotional well-being, and integrating and coordinating patient care throughout the surgical care continuum
