Senior Specialist Segment Market Management

Your Job

The Segment Solutions Telco, MNO & ISP actively participates in executing the SES Networks product and marketing strategy for Telco, MNO, & ISP providers, and ensures its efficient and effective implementation. Brings segment insights and supports the development of competitive commercial product value propositions and solutions tailored to our Fixed data segment specific markets. Support the development of the recommended go-to-market approach and partnerships activities to accelerate segment growth

Your Responsibilities

  • Creation and go-to-market and oversee execution of the mobile solutions roadmap related, but not limited to, mobile backhaul
  • Develop Market Requirement Documents to capture customer and segment requirements as well as competitive landscape
  • Work with SMI to assess the overall Fixed Data market and prioritize sub-verticals & markets through a comprehensive commercial, competitive and financial analysis
  • Work with SMM team to develop recommendations for the value proposition and positioning of SES’s existing data products and new Fixed data products building end-to-end complete solutions
  • Support selection process, onboarding and management of eco-system partners related to mobile solutions
  • Primary support to Global Telco Team North America (sales) in providing product and solutions support in strategic discussions with customers
  • Ensure product availability and compatibility with customer commercial requirements and channel new customer requirements to SMM Telco, MNO and ISP and Product Line Management
  • Support product introduction and the development of product marketing campaigns, i.e. internal sales training, external case studies and marketing collateral and campaigns
  • Support pricing strategy of Fixed Data customer segments and products
  • Develop customer case studies to illustrate SES product benefits to customers and facilitate product adoption

Your Profile

  • Master Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Telecommunications, or related fields
  • + 5 years’ work experience in the Telecom industry
  • Good understanding of product design life-cycle
  • Proven ability to work with MNO, Telco and ISP customers to identify their requirements, develop and shape applicable SES end-to-end solutions, and deliver relevant programs, services, and product offerings
  • Some understanding and experience of the buy-in process of telco customers
  • Commercial or marketing experience

Other Key Requirements/Comments

  • Fluency in English. French, Spanish as well as other languages are considered as additional assets
