About the Job

The company implements their Alcohol Training Program and the Florida Food Handler Program to hundreds of restaurants, bars, hotels, nightclubs, stadiums, arenas, etc… throughout the state of Florida. They also conduct Food Manager Training and Exam Proctoring sessions 2-3 times per month in Florida.

It takes a hard-working, dedicated, well-spoken, energetic, outgoing, detail oriented and responsible person to conduct these training sessions. Instructors generally have several meetings in a day which require timeliness and follow up paperwork. A company laptop is provided.

Requirements:

  • Some training, teaching, lecturing or even acting experience so we know you’re comfortable addressing groups that can range in size from 2 to 200
  • Some Food & Beverage experience so that you're somewhat familiar with the industry
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule. The position is 40 hours per week which includes every Saturday, some Sundays and some evenings.
  • Must be available to travel and be able to rent a car. You’ll be required to take 1 - 2 trips per month and sometimes 3 that are between 1 & 5 days.  All travel expenses are paid by the company...rental car, hotel and food allowance.
  • Must have a reliable car and enjoy driving. A great deal of time is spent driving to and from different establishments, so be prepared to spend a lot of time on the road. When traveling in the tri-county area (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach) and when traveling to certain destinations outside of this area, the instructor is required to use his/her personal vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed as allowable by law.
  • Basic office skills, computer literacy and knowledge of social media required. In addition to conducting training sessions out in the field, instructors are responsible for general office administrative duties, such as computer data entry, filing, scanning, scheduling, answering phones, customer service, online enrollments, social media engagement, etc…
  • Strong organizational, time management and customer service skills are required.
  • Articulate fluency in English and Spanish is required.
