Our direct client is seeking a Level I Accountant for their Newark, NJ location. This is a contract opportunity.
Job Description:
- The candidate will apply cash, processing accruals and analyzing the balance sheet.
- Degree (accounting, finance or economics preferred) with up to 2 years experience.
- Requires light to moderate account research, general ledger posting, light account reconciliation, full process accounts payable/receivable, voucher processing.
- Proficient in one or more spreadsheet packages.
