Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the selecting and outbound loading of dry and refrigerated trailers in a safe and efficient manner.  This position will also manage receiving activities for inbound product.  This position will coordinate with Customer Service and Fleet Operations to fulfill accurate and damage free deliveries to customers as well as maintain/ improve production standards and overall operational expectations.

  • Monitor employee performance and take necessary steps to ensure nightly goals are met by all selecting associates. 
  • Responsible for on time dispatch of all routes.
  • Continuously evaluate procedures and staff performance and make changes to improve efficiencies.  Counsel, record, and discipline as necessary.  
  • Address driver concerns on load quality and OS+D.
  • Interview, select and train pickers and supervisors to maintain a staffing level necessary to run the shift efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety and selecting procedures.  Continuously train and promote safe operation of all material handling equipment.  Take any equipment in need of repair out of service and report maintenance needs as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate with associates to ensure safety, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Maintain and present production and performance reports to upper management as needed.
  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Manage the second shift Pickers and Supervisors within a 24/7 operation
  • Partner and establish strong working relationships with other departments that provide support to operations.
  • BS/BA Required
  • 5 + years of warehouse operations experience as well as progressive hands-on supervisory/management experience required
  • Strong financial acumen is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA Standards and regulations
  • WMS experience required (SAP preferred)
  • Experience using voice selecting applications preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible to varying work schedules (inclusive of Holidays and Weekends)
