Opportunity: The Mom Project is helping to source candidates for the above client who is looking for a Diversity & Inclusion Communications Consultant Company.

Commitment Level:  40 hours per week, onsite, contract through December 2019. 



Our Customer is an independent investment management firm dedicated to delivering an investment experience that helps people get more out of life.

We are seeking a Diversity & Inclusion Communications Consultant on a contract basis (with potential to hire!) to support their business needs. As a “digital storyteller” you will use your strong writing, editing, and communications management skills to celebrate our Customer’s commitment to diversity and inclusion (D&I) and increase awareness of D&I initiatives across the globe.


What you’ll do:
• Internally communicate through the creation of articles, interviews with colleagues at all levels of the organization and other content delivered through the intranet, Yammer and multi-channel campaigns.
• External communication via content on our Customer’s website and social media campaigns.
• Project manage video content production in partnership with a professional video studio.
• Provide input to and help to deliver the global D&I and Americas communications plans, including communications support to help promote our evolving Employee Support Groups (ESG) such as the Women’s Network and LGBT+ Network.
• Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with internal business partners, the regional D&I managers and communications colleagues around the globe.
• Have an expertise in and a thorough appreciation of the nuances of Diversity & Inclusion communications (as well as a “personal passion” for D&I).
• This is a global role and the holder will be expected to liaise closely with internal and external communications, D&I and HR counterparts across the globe and key contacts based in the UK (i.e. global HR and comms leads for D&I).


Must Haves:
• 5+ years’ experience in corporate communications, marketing or PR; global internal communications experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellence in project execution and time management skills; able to manage several projects and deliverables at one time while adhering to deadlines
• Strong relationship building skills
• Able to create presentations and talking points using PowerPoint for internal meetings
• Experience publishing to a SharePoint intranet using an online content management system, and email campaign management systems
• Adobe Creative Suite, graphic design and video editing skills a plus


Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field


Hours & Location
M-F, 40 hours/week at Customer’s beautiful mid-town location in Atlanta, GA. There is no remote capability for this position.
