Our client is a leader in its niche. They have won countless awards and have been recognized on many levels for their wonderful culture.  At this time due to explosive growth they are expanding there accounting head count. 

  • Preparation of 10-Q, 10-K and other SEC filings including financial statements, footnote disclosures, and MD&A to ensure timely and accurate filings 
  • Perform detailed level tie-outs of quarterly SEC filings, earnings releases and related CEO and CFO transcripts, as well as assist in the preparation of quarterly audit committee presentations 
  • Review footnote support received from internal groups for reasonableness 
  • Preparation of equity-based compensation expense calculations, including outlook and budget analysis 
  • Preparation of quarterly EPS calculations 
  • Completion of disclosure checklists to ensure Company compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements 
  • Review of detailed Xtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging of financial statements and footnotes
  • Preparation and review of the annual proxy statement
  • Preparation of the annual goodwill and identifiable intangible impairment test 
  • Research accounting issues as needed and the ability to understand and communicate the impact of reporting/disclosure requirements 
  • Documentation and testing of internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 
  • Support external auditors during the review and audit process as needed 
  • Provide direct support on various special projects and requests 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing is preferred.
  • Public Accounting Experience (BIG 4 Highly preferred)
  • Significant experience with SOX 404 Compliance, SEC and Financial Reporting
  • Five years of accounting, analysis and statistical reporting experience including three years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting, analysis and reporting to design, modify and manage the financial reporting of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to multi-task, be a flexible problem solver and be a team player.
  • Strong understanding of national, state and local regulations and laws as they pertain to the healthcare industry and GAAP.
