Administrative Coordinator

Marathon is a growing workforce solutions provider with over twenty offices nationwide offering employees amazing flexibility in exploring new opportunities, learning new skills through on the job training, and peace of mind working with a team with over 30 years of experience.

One of our clients, a large School of Public Health, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator.  This position is temp to hire for the right person.  Pay rate is $18.00 to $20.00 an hour.

Will be Responsible For:

  • Coordinates and has direct responsibility for a program, project, or event.
  • Creates and implements administrative systems to manage area of responsibility.
  • Serves as a main source of information, effectively responding to inquiries from potential customers, participants, academic collaborators.  
  • Prepares and maintains records, reports, budget and plans.
  • Might maintain a web page, website, or program materials.

Job Requirements

Qualified Candidate Will:

  • Have 2 to 3 years of related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Must be able to plan, prioritize, and track work.
  • Basic or better proficiency on common office software.
