The Payroll / Human Resources Specialist (1) is responsible for maintaining employee HR data and the input and processing of the employee’s payroll. It is the ongoing mission to streamline workflows and be creative in achieving more efficient ways to service our customers both internally and externally.
Payroll & HR Administration
Accurate and timely processing of new hire information both manually and via MSS.
Support LGBS MEX in eTime escalation matters.
Audit of payroll reports and data entry to ensure quality payroll output.
Monitor input and assist MEX RA with PSION inquiries.
Process additional payments due employees (e.g. bonuses, tuition reimbursements)
Handle all employment administration for assigned employee population. • Update and maintain employee personnel files.
Verification of I9’s.
Interact with employees and managers to answer Payroll & HR related inquiries about policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist employees and manager with any eTime related issues such as compliance and reporting.
Coordinate relocation process.
Monitor and advise of any variances in employee classification and salaries.
Prepare termination paperwork, term checklist, recovery of company property including local P file and calculation/processing of severance and final checks in accordance with state laws.
Support other team members with vacation relief.
Monitor employee accruals in eTime for accuracy.
Compose and create internal and external correspondence.
Comply with employment, mortgage, and Social Security verification.
Assist with compliance of internal and external audits.
Assist with responses to EEOC changes and legal changes while being aware of compliance issues.
Assist in amending and implementing new personnel policies.
Respond to unemployment claims.
Trouble shooting to help resolve system problems.
Monitor and respond to team mailbox inquires.
Provide wage information to Benefits team for worker’s compensation issues.
Liaise with Benefits team to track leaves for proper payroll processing.
Special projects and assignments as needed and directed.
Develop and maintain SOP’s.
Knowledge of federal and state employment rules and regulations.
Experience with ADP Enterprise, ESS, MSS, ADP Reporting, eTime, Adjustmate, and PSION.
Strong MS office skills.
3 – 5 years’ experience related to payroll, HR and/or administration.
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
Knowledge of German desirable.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication and social skills.
Ability to cooperate with and support colleagues (team player) High degree of flexibility.
Readiness to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume responsibility.
Ability to prioritize work flows and work under time pressure with a high degree of accuracy.
Must possess valid U.S. working permit.
Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment.
The noise level in the office is usually moderate.
