Billing Accounting Coordinator

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading law firm seeking an Accounting Coordinator / Billing. This person will be assigned to a group of attorneys and will handle billing, follow up with attorneys, and ensuring outstanding bills are paid.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BILLING ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR:

  • Handle billing for an assigned group of attorneys in the law office
  • Preparation of bills and ensuring outstanding bills are paid 
  • Process accounts receivable invoices
  • Review outstanding balance reports
  • Enter information into system and compute amounts due
  • Generate credit forms for clients or finance companies
  • Send reminder letters to clients of outstanding bills
  • Post transactions to general ledger


EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE 
BILLING ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2+ years experience with billing required
  • Accounts Receivable experience
  • Law firm experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
