Branch Sales Coordinator / Administrator

Summary

The Branch Sales Coordinator is responsible for locating and securing properly specified equipment from other branches, including all attachments and kits necessary to achieve retail sale and other sales related duties assigned by the Branch Manager. Initiate, coordinate, and follow through all sales process paperwork such as quoting, finance documentation, attachment quote (order new as needed), service related quotation, warranty and preventative maintenance agreements quotations, and all other Murphy / John Deere / Wirtgen or other supplier sales process or system needs.

Essential Functions

 Locate properly specified equipment and secure for sale

 Coordinate all equipment and attachments needed for retail sale

 Prepare documents needed for equipment and attachments to be ordered if needed

 Create all documentation needed for sale

o  Purchase Order

o  JD Quote

●  Including finance, warranty, and telematics (JD Link) and associated documentation as needed

o  Used / DORF Worksheet

 Assist with submitting equipment deal paperwork

o  To be reviewed by Sales Person and Branch Manager

o  Final equipment inspection, ensuring proper stock numbers are attached and ready for delivery

 Work with rental department to coordinate hauling as needed for sale

 Work with rental department to perform whole goods inventory audits as needed

 Work with Rental Department, Sales Team, Branch Manager and Murphy Corporate to ensure proper whole goods inventory levels for branch are achieved

 Communicate with Service Department regarding all incoming and outgoing equipment and attachments

 Coordinate Service Department quotation, initiate process, and monitor all portions of the deal that will need service / parts

 Communicate with Sales Team the progress of service related segments of deal though out until submitting documentation and delivery

 Work with Used Equipment department and Service Department to ensure all needs for the deal are met as negotiated in the deal

 Collaborates with Branch Manager to monitor, and deliver all Sales Related reports such as Market Share, UCC Filing Report, Monthly Sales Report, Customer Anatomy, Sales Ranking Report, and other reports as needed

 CRM system knowledge and ability to assist sales team to fulfill needed records of sales call activity

 Assist with trade shows, conventions, and other sales related community activities or associations

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

 Strong attention to teamwork is a must, as this position requires constant communication between, Sales, Customer Solutions Specialist’s, Rental, Service, Used, and other departments regularly

 Meets commitments and deadlines

 Stays focused under pressure

 Is honest and forthright

 Completes documentation, with attention to detail, and reports in a timely manner

 Demonstrates openness to new structure, procedure, and technology as they emerge

 Able to travel using own and company vehicle (minimal)

 Able to work a flexible schedule as needed

 Strong knowledge of the construction equipment and construction industry, with a willingness to learn

Physical Requirements and Work Schedule

Employee must be able to do occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

Education/Work Experience

High school diploma or GED required. Two year degree from a college or school or at least three years related experience and/or training preferred.
